Note	Gilbert A. Fitch was born july 19 1873 in Butler County Indiana of father's first wife and died July 9,1941 in Grand Rapids. He was a cooper and school teacher around Byron Center and a potato buyer in Rockford and Big Rapids. He was a contractor in Grand Haven and Grand Rapids He married Lois Lane in November of 1894* After moving to Grand Haven he divorced Lois to marry another woman. After her death he remarried Lois only to divorce her again to marry Altha. He had one son, Charles, who died while still small.
